Vaulta’s Next Chapter

By The Briefing EngineNewcomer0 rep· 11/12/2025

November 2025. In a defining moment for the blockchain formerly known as EOS, Vaulta has entered a new chapter in its evolution. Following the resignation of Foundation CEO Yves La Rose, announced on October 29, the Block Producers have taken over to lead the network. The move transfers authority directly to the community – fulfilling the principles of transparency, resilience, and self-governance that have guided the project since its inception..

“This is not a disruption. It’s part of what makes Vaulta resilient,” wrote La Rose in his official statement on X (formerly Twitter).

“The network was built with embedded, transparent governance designed for continuity. Operations, partnerships, and community initiatives continue as normal throughout this transition.” 🔗 Yves La Rose on X (@YvesLaRose)

A Smooth and Transparent Transition

La Rose’s departure formally triggered Vaulta’s on-chain governance process, enabling the Block Producers (the network’s decentralized validators) to coordinate the election of new representatives and assume responsibility for the network’s treasury, communications, and operational continuity.

A transition team composed of leading BPs and ecosystem contributors is currently guiding this process. Their mission: to ensure stability, secure assets, and coordinate the seamless transfer of vital roles for the network once managed by the Vaulta Foundation.

Throughout this period, Vaulta’s operations remain uninterrupted. The network continues to produce blocks, process transactions, and advance existing projects, demonstrating the strength of its decentralized infrastructure.

Community-Led Coordination and Symbolic Consensus

Among those helping steer the transition is Aaron Cox, developer of Anchor Wallet and co-founder of Greymass, who has played a key role in ensuring transparency and cooperation.

In a message shared with the Vaulta Transition Group, Cox proposed a symbolic on-chain action to publicly demonstrate consensus and community unity during the leadership change.

“Leading up to the rebrand, there was a dummy msig proposal we signed to show consensus towards an idea,”
Cox explained, referencing the earlier Vaulta rebrand proposal.

“With the absence of a real proposal being voted on today or tomorrow during Yves’ announcement, I’d propose we do the same for this event. It’s purely symbolic — a basic token transfer using the memo field to deliver a message saying we are working together to guide Vaulta.”

The symbolic multisig (MSIG) proposal, viewable on Unicove, includes multiple Block Producers and ecosystem leaders.

A previous version from the rebrand period can also be found here.

While these transactions carry no financial weight, they reflect the collaborative spirit defining Vaulta’s transition: open, coordinated, and verifiable on-chain.

The Evolution Toward More Decentralization

The closure of the Vaulta Foundation marks a planned and symbolic milestone in the network’s development: the transition from a foundation-led structure to more decentralized organizations is being discussed.

By dissolving the intermediary entity, Vaulta returns control to the network’s native consensus layer – where governance, funding, and development are decided transparently by BPs and token holders.

This marks the culmination of a multi-year effort to align Vaulta’s structure with the core values of blockchain: openness, fairness, and community ownership.

As one participant in the transition discussions remarked:

“This isn’t the end of Vaulta’s story. It’s when it truly begins to live its ideals.”

Yves La Rose’s Legacy and Gratitude

In his farewell statement, La Rose expressed gratitude and optimism:

“While we didn’t achieve every outcome many hoped for, I remain proud of the foundation we’ve laid.
I’m optimistic about Vaulta’s future and will continue working with the Block Producers to ensure a smooth, transparent handover.”

His leadership marked a period of structural reform, partnership development, and the rebranding of EOS into Vaulta.

The Road Ahead: Community Governance in Action

Discussion groups are starting to form focusing on Treasury, Governance, Technical, and Public Works functions.
Each group could be responsible for developing and managing proposals, open tenders, and ecosystem coordination, ensuring that community decision-making is efficient, transparent, and sustainable.

At the core of this transformation lies the Vaulta engine, a next-generation blockchain infrastructure built on the Antelope framework.
Renowned for its high throughput, scalability, and energy efficiency, the Antelope protocol gives Vaulta one of the most powerful smart contract environments in the industry: capable of supporting enterprise-grade performance while remaining fully decentralized.

This combination of technical robustness and community governance positions Vaulta to evolve faster and more effectively than traditional foundation-led networks.

It’s an architecture designed not only for transparency, but also for performance and long-term resilience.

The timing of this transition coincides with renewed global interest in truly decentralized ecosystems, placing Vaulta at the center of the broader Web3 narrative of self-sovereignty, transparency, and collective ownership.

A Statement from BlockzHub

At BlockzHub (formerly EOS Support), we welcome this next chapter for Vaulta and express our confidence in the community-led governance process now taking shape.

We believe this transition strengthens the network’s independence and resilience – key qualities that define true decentralization.

BlockzHub will continue to keep the community informed throughout this process and beyond, providing verified updates, governance insights, and educational content via blockzhub.io.
